What Is an Enchanted Card in Disney Lorcana?

June 22, 2026

If you've spent any time around Disney Lorcana, you've heard collectors talk about "Enchanted" cards in hushed, excited tones. They're the chase — the rarest, most striking cards in the game. Here's exactly what an Enchanted card is, why it's so coveted, and how to add one to your collection.

The short answer

An Enchanted card is a special, ultra-rare alternate version of a regular card. Instead of the standard frame, it gets a full-art, borderless treatment with unique styling and a premium foil finish — the art bleeds edge to edge, making it look more like a piece of artwork than a game piece. Only a small handful exist in each set, and they're pulled far less often than any standard rarity.

It's the same card — just gorgeous

This trips up a lot of new collectors: an Enchanted card is mechanically identical to its standard version. Same name, same ink, same cost, same stats, same rules text. The Enchanted treatment is purely a cosmetic and collectible upgrade — you're not getting a different or more powerful card, just a far rarer and more beautiful printing of one you can also own normally.

That's why Enchanteds are first and foremost a collector's prize rather than a gameplay one.

How rare are they?

Very. Enchanted cards sit above every standard rarity (Common → Legendary — see our rarities guide) with an extremely low pull rate. Most players will open many booster boxes without seeing one, and each set only has a limited number of Enchanted cards to chase. That scarcity is exactly why they command the highest prices on the secondary market.

How to actually get one

Three realistic paths:

  • Packs — possible, but don't count on it. The pull rate is low enough that chasing Enchanteds through sealed product is expensive and frustrating.
  • Singles — the most reliable route. Buy the specific Enchanted you want from a local game store or marketplace. Check recent sold prices first, since Enchanted values move.
  • Trade — if you pull an Enchanted you don't care about, it's powerful trade currency for the ones you do. (See how to trade Lorcana cards.)

Collecting Enchanteds

Because there are relatively few per set, an "Enchanted-only" collection is a popular, focused goal — fewer cards, bigger hunt, stunning binder. If that's your lane, track them deliberately: log Enchanteds (and foils generally) separately from your normal copies so your collection and trade list reflect what you actually have. Foilfolio records normal and foil copies independently for exactly this reason.
